Republicans from all corners of the party scorned Ted Cruz Wednesday night after the Texas senator delivered a speech before the Republican National Convention that not only failed to endorse nominee Donald Trump, but encouraged audience members to not do so if it would violate their "conscience."
"Cruz condemned to Republican hell," conservative-news mogul Matt Drudge tweeted, before placing a "HELL'S A-BURNIN'" banner on his popular website.
Full article. Pretty good, actually.

He is completely finished.
Globalist sell-out.
I hope Ted’s “conscience” doesn’t dictate a 3rd party run.
I think that won’t work.
Trump gave him the platform. What happened is that Cruz accepted that platform, then turned on Trump.
Trump will at this point so decimate Cruz if there were such a situation, that Cruz has no leg to even stand on anymore.
Nope. Cruz screwed up big time.
Cruz & Kasich are 2 t**ds in the punchbowl
He was always a little off.
“I hope Teds conscience doesnt dictate a 3rd party run.”
_____________
Been thinking that too. Be just like him.
I’ve always intended to vote my conscience.
My conscience won’t allow Hillary in the White House.
Cruz ended his political career last night.
Cubanadian hari kari on national television
That would be a joke!
The interesting thing is that Trump saw the speech 2 hours earlier and still gave Ted the go ahead. He basically went for the “give him more rope” option...
Ted used it well...
It didn’t look good last night, Cruz was booed offstage, but I think in the end it will only help Trump. I wasn’t surprised Cruz didn’t endorse Trump, I did want to see him at least support Trump though, he did, after all, sign a pledge to do so...and not a word. Congratulated Trump on the nomination, not another mention of Trump’s name at all, the whole thing was intended to set himself up for another run, probably in 2020. Cruz made the same mistake as many, he underestimated Donald Trump...and quite a few pinheads on TV today are saying he finished off his political career in the process. That remains to be seen, politicians have a nasty habit of surviving political suicide.
To those who saw right through Cruz from the beginning—you were right. To those who insulted him—you were right. To those who saw him as an egotistical creep—you were right. To those who recognized immediately that the name “lying Ted” would stick because it was well earned—you were right.
He’s the Anthony Wiener of Texas, an unprincipled and delusional narcissist.
On the other hand what a brilliant move by Trump to dangle out the third party thing for so long and force the rnc to make him sign that pledge...knowing that the rest would have to do it too. Shows how many of the candidate were lying pos's. Good ones Carson, Rubio, Christie, Walker, Perry, Huckabee...anyone else?
I think he'll occupy the kook fringe, just like Ron Paul. He'll keep is 10% support but will never amount to anything serious.
He did not give an anti-Trump speech. It was a self aggrandizing speech that did not endorse Trump. He was clearly unaware of his surroundings and that he was at his own rally. Then he made a typical cruz like snarky remark when he said “I appreciate the enthusiasm of the New York delegation.”
Which reminds as to why he lost in the first place when he insulted New Yorkers; that was the beginning of the end of him, and last night with that remark proved he is incapable of learning from his mistakes.
Cruz is unrepentant today. Said he couldn’t forgive Trump for taunting Heidi. So this was planned, for a long time. He picked the most self-destructive option possible. Interesting that Heidi wore a loud yellow “see me” dress. Back to the side of the highway for both of them.
Cruz constantly claimed he is a Christian, but is incapable of forgiving. He should checkout Matthew 18:21-35.
Parable of the Unforgiving Debtor
21 Then Peter came to him and asked, Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?
22 No, not seven times, Jesus replied, but seventy times seven”
23 Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. 24 In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars.25 He couldnt pay, so his master ordered that he be soldalong with his wife, his children, and everything he ownedto pay the debt.
26 But the man fell down before his master and begged him, Please, be patient with me, and I will pay it all. 27 Then his master was filled with pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt.
28 But when the man left the king, he went to a fellow servant who owed him a few thousand dollars. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment.
29 His fellow servant fell down before him and begged for a little more time. Be patient with me, and I will pay it, he pleaded. 30 But his creditor wouldnt wait. He had the man arrested and put in prison until the debt could be paid in full.
31 When some of the other servants saw this, they were very upset. They went to the king and told him everything that had happened. 32 Then the king called in the man he had forgiven and said, You evil servant! I forgave you that tremendous debt because you pleaded with me. 33 Shouldnt you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you? 34 Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt.
35 Thats what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.
