You are so right! I was one of those who “had never heard of him” and am now so impressed with Mike Pence.
Pence and Walker are the future of the party. If Trump’s elected and decides not to run in 4 years because he’ll be almost 75, Pence is the next president. He does a good job and enter Walker. Cruz was never going to be the future of the party. He put ego ahead of the party and it’s all about him. And on top of that the SOB is not eligible and he knows it. What a loser. Needs to go back to Canada, where he’s eligible to run and run for Parliament. He’s finished in American politics.
Pence came across genuinely as the person Cruz pretends to be.
