Despite their own culpability, they would have won. I’m guessing Disney quietly offered a generous settlement.
This was not a domestic animal, there are different rules regarding wild animals with regards to civil actions.
We should be grateful this family’s tragedy is out of the hands of the endless courts and is moving on. Other companies or families would have dragged this on and it would be a living never ending nightmare over and over.
