But you are correct in that with arab/muslim armies only look competent when fighting other arab/muslim armies.

I remember during the Iran/Iraq War. Iran had run out of ammo and in one battle sent 10,000 soldiers to rush Iraqi gunners hoping some of them could get there and kill them. Yeah that worked out well.
