I believe you are correct. No matter where Kelly ends up and even if she remains at FOX her co-workers will never trust her.
If she felt harassed then good for her for coming forward - but 10 years LATER? Kelly has been OFF for the last year. It does appear all her fame went to her head and she isn’t even interesting anymore.
Fox is using the bench in covering a lot of programs. Some of these staffers are very good and hopefully become front and center.
Finally, many people say if you leave (Ailes in this case) I will quit as well. It doesn’t usually happen.
When a reporter or anchor becomes part of the story like Kelly did with Trump it is a red flag there is a problem. IMO
Kelly is over and will not be able to keep jobs more than for short periods soon.
All production companies will feel at anytime she could become the enemy from within.
Kelly may get a short gig elsewhere, but no one will ever trust her again.

Even is Ailes is a dirty old man, I give Gretchen ZERO credit for bringing it to light.
She is like a mistress who complains after she is replaced by a younger mistress.
Now the next target is O’Reilly, we know his history in that department.
Actually, it’s been reported that Ailes already has the 40 Mil exit in his contract and there is not a non-compete clause. So yes, he can start his own network. As I recall, the reason he received such a favorable contract is because at the time he was being courted to start a new network.
I believe you are correct. If she continues to get high ratings, if anyone will be “out” it will be Ailes.
There is no loyalty in corporate America except to the almighty dollar.
Was this a defensive move on Kelly’s part? Was she about to be demoted time slot wise or whatever else she gets that is special?
It seems desperate to me.
