“Likely the gasoline comes into your town in one or maybe two pipelines. The tankers pull up to their respective loading station and that companies additives are added to the same base gasoline as all the others get.”

In many states no doubt, but Colorado and Wyoming pump massive amounts of crude and refine a lot of that crude locally for local use, as well as for regional use, which I imagine is indeed piped out to other states.

There’s a major Colorado refinery a half hour from me in Commerce City, and six major refineries up the road in Wyoming.

That being said, no doubt many blends and brands are refined out of these same refineries.

We have Valero stations up here and someone said that they are Venezuelan. Do you know whether that is true?

It can be complex to account for all Valero Energy stockholders, but control is not at all Venezuelan (that I've encountered mention of) --- though that refiner has long specialized in high sulfur crude, so likely refines a some amount of Venezuelan oil that is imported to the U.S. .

In which ones exactly of it's refineries it would do so (assuming my guessing here is correct) I would not know, and am not interested enough to take the time to go digging for the info.

Valero is NYSE traded with HQ in Texas.

Here’s a list of their refineries.

Is it possible they refine some Venezuelan crude? I suppose so.

Okay, I did research, this is actually a Hindu Buddhist company. Buy from them and the biggest thing that might happen is it might go to fund the building of a Buddhist pagoda somewhere in America. No problemo. Buddhism never did anything close to what the Muzzies are doing around the world since the Sengokujedai period in Japan with the Ikko Sect. And they were mostly just nationalists.

Bottom line, not a dime for new mosque construction or terrorists.
