The video? Sorry, I can do better roasters on my ten speed after a coupla beers, and I grew up on an SS.

A friend if mine in high school had a brand
new Impala like this one, only it was black
over white. One of my favorite cars ever.

My Dad taught me how to drive in a 63 Impala.
Warm memories of him and the car.

Nice old iron but Impala is not the definition of a muscle car.

Nice. Noted the badges telling it has a 427. Don’t see a lot of those these days...

Yabbut, the wimpy brakes and slush suspensions made all that power useless if not treacherous.
Anyone old enough to remember trying to do a long hard stop with drum brakes know how scary those old sleds were.

Car in the linked video is a very cool ‘69 with some subtle enhancements.
Back in the early ‘90s I had a good friend with a four door 1972 Impala that his dad had kept in impeccable shape. That thing was a true sled but was tons of fun with its unsmogged V8.

Thank you for letting me forget about obama and the hildibeast for a little while. I apologize for disparaging Impalas earlier.

Lots of nice cars here, but all pale in comparison to probably the greatest muscle car of all time:
The Ford Thunderbolt. A completely stock 'bolt, on modern tires, will run around 9.3 second 1/4 mile times. The fastest 1/4 mile time ever for a factory vehicle.

The prettiest Impala was the 61 model year.
IMHO of course.
