Have been an ARRL members for years. Ham since 1982.
The petitioners have done a lot of background work including examination of financial records, policy changes made without consultation of the membership, sudden revocations of appointments without explanation, spending oddities, etc. The Ames case is a good example as the available documentation completely refutes the ARRL position.
That said, the petition only requests that proceedings be done in an open manner.
