When announced most new Russian weapons are said to have magical properties. Grain of salt needed here.
To: Flick Lives
“An ICBM will deliver its weapon less than 30 minutes from launch.”
And a space based, orbital satellite with on-board nukes cuts that delivery time in half.
There will be nukes in space long before this fantasy engine first fires up in an airframe.

They never did find that other nuke. They “think” they know where it is, and are “pretty sure” it won’t go off.

I’d love to run the numbers on some of the engine manufacturers claims...but I’ve got to go to work and deal with the real world.

NATO reporting names for Russian bombers have one syllable if they are propeller-driven (Ilyushin Il-2 “Bark,” Tupolev Tu-95 “Bear”) and two syllables if they are jets (Tupolev Tu-22 “Backfire”). Since this new aircraft can go into outer space, perhaps three syllables should be used—such as “Beerbarrel.”

Some person playing Pokémon Go will eventually find the location.

Or some redneck will put 10 lbs of tannerite in the wrong spot and have an epic “hold ma beer and watch this” moment.

As a former intelligence specialist with a focus on Russian technology (which often gets unfairly mocked) this reeks of BS.

My thoughts exactly. If you’re going to launch an ICBM you’re not going to change your mind.
