A lot of people I know in the UK and Australia get their knickers in a twist over anything that happens in the US.

They think that they are superior to the "knuckle daggers" in the US.

They don't quite know what to think of Hillary, but they hate Donald Trump.

I tell them that if they don't like what happens in the US, then they should quit yapping and VOTE for the opposing party... That usually shuts them up!

People will fight more violently to defend their self image than life itself. (There is ample evidence of this, consider Japanese Kamikazes.) For many Europeans and others in the West, a great deal of their self image is invested in the ridiculous notion that they are culturally and morally superior to white Americans. Germans believe this. Think. About. That.

In the 1950’s they could at least cling to the vapid tu quoque argument, “but you are lynching Negros.” Both of the recent “controversial” incidents involved armed felons in possession of handguns, shot in confrontations with the police.

Vermont has about the loosest gun laws in the United States, and about 75% of its residents own firearms. It also has a firearms murder rate of 0.3 per 100,000 and an overall homicide rate of 1.1 per 100,000. Lower than France, Belgium or Great Britain. It also has an overwhelming white population.

The problem is not firearms and it is not white Americans.
