We had 2 Pileated Woodpeckers on one of our trees today, at the same time. If I had a decent camera I might have gotten a picture.

I recently visited family who have a whole lot more wildlife in their yard then where I live, One morning I was outside and saw a huge bird with a huge wingspan near apple trees, some stacked wood piles and forest line. I went and got my phone camera and took pictures from a distance. Later told my Dad we had an eagle on the property. He said it’s a hawk, it’s been hanging around the yard for a week or so. LOL
Thanks for sharing the pictures, Makes me think of home.

Excellent. Would really like to see some Limpkins again, and actually be able to watch them feed for a bit.
Here are some of my latest ones.
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Hairy Woodpecker (he was guarding his nest)
Belted Kingfisher (Yelling at fish to jump in his mouth I guess)
Eastern Meadowlark
Finally some decent shots of American Coots
I have dipped on Yellow-breasted Chat, Worm-eating Warbler (a county first), several Orchard Orioles, and was with 2 people as they saw a Hooded Warbler. I was unable to get a good enough look at it to ID it for myself, so no joy on that. All of those would have been lifers for me too.
