As an addendum if ever SHTF you would want a couple or 3 Sikh families on your block. They generally are a honorable martial people. The men as well as the women would stand with you against whatever comes. They don't take the names Singh/Kaur lightly.

I said after 9/11 that we should have raised a Sikh regiment similar to the British gurkhas. The Sikhs know how to handle militant Muslims.
