Comey is an out and out traitor. What was left of the rule of law died yesterday. There is no way to polish this turd.

As I recall, CJ John Roberts was a genius, too; for passing Obungacare the way he did, so that it would be “short work for Congress to repeal it”.

Until, on January 19, 2017, Obama pardons Hillary and anyone on her staff for any and all crimes and violations. . .

Also, if they had prosecuted the Dems would have found another nominee. This way, they are stuck with her. Trump can beat her easily.

I heard similar after Justice Roberts supposedly put a poison pill in his decision that would kill Obamacare. Too clever by half, if it was even true.

How about, prosecute criminals, uphold the Constitution?

If it were me, I’d pull out off the stops, as I would have released the indictment with full details from the steps of a chartered aircraft which I would enter and join my family in Malta or some decent country with no extradition treaty. I guess we’d have to live off of the advance on the book royalties.

Comey is being no more clever than Roberts was/is. They are both traitors to the country and their oath of office. A man’s character is tested when he has a choice: do what is right or go along to get along. Both Comey and Roberts have no character - they go along to get along. Traitors to the country and themselves - pond scum has more character.

So in spite of my disappointment, to make a silk purse out of the situation. In the alternate universe where Comey had recommended for prosecution Hillary would have immediately played the victim card.

“Oh the evil white male cabal is prosecuting the helpless female veejayjay guilty of nothing but a mistaken belief that she could communicate in private about her grandchillens and yoga classes.”

Now in this immediate plane of existence Comey Outlined all of the chargable crimes and all of the felonious actions in public flat out. He Framed the Clinton felonious actions as criminal activity, he acknowledged that anyone else would be held criminally accountable. And then he counterintuitively, inexplicably and publically gave her a ‘get out of jail free’ card.

So the public has a full accounting of the criminal activities and the Clintons have zero excuses to hide behind.

The way I see it, the big downside in this scenario is a lack of immediate gratification :)

Comey didn’t recommend to prosecute for one reason, and one reason only: the FBI prolly has one or many emails from the Oval Office staff, or Obama himself to Hillary.

He ain’t opening that can of worms no matter how much integrity he has.

Actually I like it.

By telling everyone she clearly broke the law he also let the truth be known and proved once again that Hillary is a liar.

If Comey had recommended prosecution, they may have gone ahead and had a trial and cleared her, thereby making it impossible she could ever be tried again due to double jeopardy. As it is now...
...she'll be pardoned by Obama as he's making his way to the exit, and never have to worry about any of this again. And he'll make a big stink about it, too, claiming that she would have been subject to prosecutorial misconduct -- his stock in trade since 2009 at least. So, no. He gave us the only thing he could give us -- no indictment, just that an indictment should be brought, if it had been anyone else it would have been -- because he'd obviously been told, there will be no prosecution of her, so don't try to bring an indictment.

Not only that, besides ruining his career, he has painted the whole democrat party as corrupt and in collusion. The whole down ticket is tarred.

Obama will be issuing pardons in December. One of those pardons will be for her thighness Hitlery Rotten Criminal.

A future administration won’t be able to touch her as a result.

Hillary never leaves anything to chance. She already knows who will win in November just like she knew all along she had nothing to fear from the “review” of trivial details of a Potekin investigation. There’s more broken in our system than immigration laws. The entire festering mess in DC is corrupt from the top of the Washington Monument to the lowest patch of scum in the sewer.

Let me add to your EXTREMELY accurate assessment.

First, let me call it what it was - it was a prosecuting attorney’s opening statement to Judge and Jury.

He also provided an accurate road map for all current and future opposition research teams.

He also drove a spike into the current judicial system where an attorney’s won/loss record is the most important thing - justice be damn.

He did so in a form that was impossible to quash. Ever wonder how many copies, public and private, were made of his opening statement?

IMHO was we move away from July 5th more and more people will realize what really happened and his reputation will go up not down.

Comey swore an oath to protect us against enemies foreign and domestic, turns out he is a DOMESTIC ENEMY, aiding Hillary another DOMESTIC ENEMY who compromised TOP SECRET MATERIAL and put America and Americans at risk for her self serving desire and actions to sell her office and favors and keep her deals hidden from FOIA.

INTENT, nothing but INTENT

Comey is a traitor.

Sorry, I can’t agree. I remember when people were twisting and scrambling to make sense of Justice Roberts ruling on Obamacare....that it would somehow turn into something that would backfire on Obama. Occam’s razor applies to Comey as it did to Roberts....the evidence is right in front of us. Bubba’s “impromptu” meeting with Lynch on the Tarmac is exactly what it looked like. Killary’s passing statement about keeping Lynch on as DOJ is exactly what it looks like. We have to stop putting our faith in people.
