To be fair... Ihad Malaysian Muslim friends back in Texas. I was their official food taster to make sure there was no pork. Just about everything there had pork one way or another. Even if the server said “there’s no pork” there was pork.
Why it is an international incident though, is beyond me.

I volunteer at an inner city soup kitchen. The ladies who cook put all kinds of donated stuff in the mix. Muslim guys always want to know if there’s pork.
I tell them “there’s more hogs than people here in Indiana” so it’s pretty likely.

Personally, if I ordered a tuna sandwich and it had a brown material in it, alongside some lettuce and a tomato I would take the time to determine what it actually was before I ate it.Wanna bet it was all a set up? Likely, the "friend" bought a bacon sandwich and they switched so he could get aTtEnTiOn, "Ooh, look at MEEEE! The big bad white American meanies forced me to eat bacon and now I *feel* sick."
