If CA splits from the Union, the State of Jefferson will immediately split from CA leaving a rump State. And of course the Central Valley and Inland Empire and all of the Sierras will join Jefferson.

From San Francisco to San Diego and 60 miles inland would be all that's left.

That is exactly the way it should split. Check out voting by county. The coast rules all the rest of the Californians who are true Americans. 60 miles inland sounds just about right

The political split in California is definitely more
east/west than anything. In the state Senate we have
3 senators representing 20 counties up here in NorCal.
Meanwhile, LA County alone has 11 state senators. You
can see that those of us here in Jefferson would not
necessarily be warm to adding SoCal’s Inland Empire
to our new conservative state.

I think a state of Jefferson would economically kick
the dog shit out of Coastal California in short order.
Not only would they lose jobs to nearby business
friendly Jefferson but businesses that migrated to
Texas and elsewhere would be heading back because of
the superior climate.
