Back in the late 1990’s I was a member of a Presbyterian Church USA in upstate New York. We were happy to move on to Virginia after the monthly PCUSA magazine recommended “Pulp Fiction” because Bruce Willis road a Motorcycle named “Grace”. They thought it referred to God’s Grace instead of an old girl friend the character used to ride hard and put up wet.
What got me in the most trouble with the “Christian Ed” leader was telling my Sunday School class that the Bible was really the Word of God, Jesus was real, and you can ask Him to help you with anything in your life.
Anything teaching that got anywhere near having a personal relationship with Jesus, and anything that supported God’s authority over his creation did not sit well with her or anyone else in the PCUSA “church”.
I fear there are indications of that.

I fear the Roman Catholic Church under the leadership of Pope Francis and progressive clergy will submit to Islam.

How is this going to work with the Presbyterian Church’s embracing of gays, lesbians and encouraging them to take positions as ministers, deacons etc.?

Well, when so called priests don’t even know what’s in their Bibles they can be easily led down the wrong path.
