As a psychiatrist, I diagnose mental illness. And, sometimes, demonic possession.

In the late 1980s, I was introduced to a self-styled Satanic high priestess. She called herself a witch and dressed the part, with flowing dark clothes and black eye shadow around to her temples. In our many discussions, she acknowledged worshipping Satan as his “queen.”

To make it simple to understand, people are either with Satan or God. There is no unguided person that will sit on the sidelines. Our Spirit died in the Garden, so we are under the control of the world. Who is the prince of this world? Satan. Our flesh will continuously choose the wrong thing,( My ways are not your ways) even if we don't perform the act of sin, we will be thinking it in our minds. When we receive the Holy Spirit, we are a new creature with the mind of Christ available 24/7. To believe you can't be influenced by evil spirits is denying what even non Christians believe for thousands of years.

In a Biblical sense, demons come in through openings left open by believers. Jesus comes in by the door,( your heart) demons come in through windows( your eyes and ears) when you read this language in the Bible. These windows are open when you look at porn, take drugs, drink alcohol, fornicate, ect. You think you are watching porn in secret, but the Holy Spirit is with the Christian watching what you do. That grieves the HS. When evil quenches the HS, evil is able to come in and eventually your sin will be found out and the one that kills, steals, and destroys will have to be removed to get you back to God. Lost people are lost by definition and the devil runs everything in their life. They might say they haven't murdered anyone but the Jesus standard is don't hate anyone or look at a woman with lust. Not raping someone is NOT the standard for God.

The Bible says we are ALL a royal priesthood. We have been given the authority of Jesus in John 17. Each of us that are believers have the authority to call on the name of Jesus to remove the demons. This is a dangerous endevour if you aren't prayed up with fasting. It happens that the spirit will move to you if you aren't careful. Jesus spent much of His ministry casting out demons. Before Jesus, no one could do this, so it was quite astounding to the people. It is folly to say God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and believe the demons of Jesus' day are somehow gone today. If you believe Jesus was lying about casting out demons you need to check your salvation. Joel 2 speaks of "locusts" scurrying into windows coming after Israel in the Last Days. This army will be filled with demons. They are here today doing what they do best. How do you explain men in women's bathrooms and leave out demonic spirits lying to the population? The final battle will be the armies of the world aligned against God Himself.(Psm 2) What lying spirit could possibly think they could have a chance to fight God?

There are some that believe the gifts given Paul are somehow gone today. The gifts come with the Holy Spirit so again, you need to check your salvation.

People talk about the "Good News" of the Gospel, but I have to tell you if you can read John 17 and not jump up and down with what Jesus has given you, there is something wrong. To think you have to have someone special to be trained and with incantations splashing Holy Water over the room, that's religion. God has given every believer power over evil in the name of Jesus. The reason the church is suffering today is the fact that not many realize who they are in Christ.

Jesus was an empty vessel, filled completely with the Holy Spirit. He said we would be able to do what He did, even more. If you can't heal the sick, maybe we need to check ourselves to see our level of Spirit living over the flesh. We can do nothing without Him. If you never have prayers answered, maybe our dipstick is a quart low and we need to get filled. Our flesh MUST decrease and the Spirit must increase. Scripture says we are in a spiritual war. We can only fight it and win "in the Spirit". Now get out of your foxhole and go take that hill!

You have to be careful with that verse. We have been adopted into God's family, the Jews. That means we are Jews now that we believe. The Jews that formed the first church were just called believers.

Many believe today that we have substituted Israel in God's plan. That IS NOT TRUE! Abraham still has his covenant with God and it will be finished in the Last battle in Revelation. The church has a New Covenant,....a better Covenant. Jews are perfectly able to take part in this New Covenant, but are still covered by the Old Covenant.

The "Replacement Theory" is satanic. It's what caused the Holocaust. Genesis 12:3 is still in effect. The church will be taken out in the Rapture and the Jews will be left behind, but the Last battle will be over Israel and the Jews. As we see in Zech 12:9-10, the Jews will repent and be saved. Same in Zech 13:6. The church didn't become the substitute for Israel, but we are the Bride Jesus seeks. Israel is still God's people. IMO, the Jews that accept Christ and the Gentiles that accept Christ AFTER the Rapture are the ones that are beheaded by the Antichrist and are called "servants" in Revelation. The Bride are called the "Elders" in Revelation because they sing the song of redeemed. We were redeemed with the Blood of Christ. Friends know God's plan, servants just follow orders according to Jesus.

The promises that God made to physical (bloodline) Israel did not end with Jesus. They continue on through end of time. That is the only way to understand the promise made by the angel to Mary in Luke 1:32, “...The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David and he will reign over the house of JACOB forever; his kingdom will never end.”

And as well to understand the statement by Jesus in Revelation 22:16 that he was the Root of David. Only a descendant of David can inherit the throne of David, thus showing that the lineage of David continues even at this very moment and will survive through all of the end times until Jesus returns.

And then there is the passage in Revelation 21:12:

(12) And it had a great and high wall, with twelve gates. And on the gates were twelve angels, and having names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel:

The only way that anyone can enter into the Holy Jerusalem will be through one of the gates named for one of the Tribes. This is figurative for the requirement that salvation can only be granted to a person who is willing to become a spiritual Israelite. No gentile can achieve salvation without doing so. So at the end of the human era, all humanity will become Israel, because God only deals with Israel. That is why the delineation between Israel and non-Israel. One lineage pictures life and one pictures death. Thus the phrase “the Israel of God” in Gal 6:16.

See Gal 3:29. If you aren't in God's family, you ain't going.

We have been made Son's of God. Adam was a Son of God and the angels were Son's of God, created from God. Jesus is Jewish, is He your brother? Son's of men have no part with Jesus. The Holy Spirit has given a Christian rebirth as Son's of God.

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Now if you are Jewish, I don't know what to say except there are many verses in The Old Testament that say Gentiles will be saved through the Jews. God will bless the whole world through Israel, ect. Wouldn't a Benjamite, or Levite also be Jewish? If you don't believe Jesus was the Christ, Then I understand your confusion as we quote from the New Covenant what Jesus says or an Apostle said with Holy Spirit inspiration. Paul said it and He was Jewish for sure.

My comment was to Christians that have mistakenly believed what came out of Constantine in about ~360-380 saying the Jews missed out on Jesus so the church is now Israel in the Bible. That's just wrong in every way and easily provable in Scripture. Just in case you ever wondered where Mel Gibson gets his problems from. I teach Sunday school in my church and this pops up from time to time and it is like fingernails on a blackboard to me. I have to say something.
