Aren’t they also a country with compulsory automatic weapons ownership and drill?Yes...and a competitive shooting spirit.....Shooting and Skiing to the Swiss are like NFL Football and NASCAR to Americans....and just about every house has a select fire SIG 550 series (Officers/NCOs can have SMGs and pistols).
After retirement, Officers keep pistols and rifles.
