You can carry in SC (and other states) in a bar/nightclub if you are not having alcohol. Been that way since Gov. Haley signed the law in 2014.

Causing a legal activity to be an illegal activity by virtue of a State Issued license? Me thinks that is, on its face, unConstitutional (Both US and SC constitutions, withstanding)

It is legal to carry concealed or openly in a bar or restaurant, even while consuming alcohol. One cannot possess a firearm if their blood alcohol content is more than .10 BAC (NRS 202.257).
