I never got beyond miniature golf. Oh, and it were anywhere over 90 degrees, no way I would have done even miniature golf. Come to think of it, I always did miniature golf in the evenings when it was cool. Playing golf on a regular course in the middle of a hit wave does not sound relaxing.

He "golfed"? One PLAYS golf. I guess you aren't a "golfer." I've golfed, went golfing and played golf numerous times, all to the same effect (I'm a duffer that averages mid-upper 80s) - was there an actual point to the comment?
