Oh, my, there is so much wrong with that article. And I am not certain that we can even excerpt NYT articles. So I will have to content myself with only deconstructing a couple of points.
Hillary claims that Americans should value “stability”, while Trump represents “chaos.” Translated into the real world, that means that Hillary wants complete autocratic control—i.e., stability. Trump supports freedom, which is inherently a chaotic system, as each person makes decisions for him or herself.
The article also says that Hillary is counting on Trump’s history of “racist and sexist” remarks to boost her campaign. Good luck with that—Trump’s racist and sexist remarks are as plentiful as Hillary’s foreign policy successes when she was heading the State Department. In other words, they don’t exist.
It is probably best just to stay away from the NYT. It exists for the sole purpose of shaping the socialist narrative, and it will tolerate no dissenting opinion, no fact-finding.
Her fundamental argument fails miserably.
First of all, the only stability and incremental change has been NEGATIVE for the last ten years, and went off the cliff in the last 7+
ALL incremental change has been negative, more arbitrary laws and regulations, greater restrictions on fundamental Constitutional rights, primarily the most important ones listed in the Bill of Rights.
As for chaos, what could be worse than the "snowflake" college 'safe place' movement, more conditions and restrictions effectively rendering many fundamental rights in the BOR useless; More mindless laws that no legislator has read, much less understand, each passed with more pages and words than the entire Constitution; trying to survive in a BLM country which is assumed to give the most ignorant blacks (including in the legislature) effective license to kill non blacks.
Does she want to discuss chaos? She can start with the Democratic excuse for a party. I'm voting Trump because he is "with us" against overbearing government at all levels. He does not demand that we must be "with him" since we "don't know better."
