I once watched Fijian warriors walk across a burning coal pit. They went quite quickly, and none of them were burned.
Honestly, I was more concerned about them earlier in the day, when they were showing how they hack coconuts open with machetes. I was sure I would see fingers flying... didn’t happen.
I highly recommend visiting Fiji, and taking a little day trip to Robinson Crusoe Island during the visit.
I understand Fijians still sell those four pronged wooden forks used for `long pig’ banquets, even though that practice was banned long ago.
