Mary Wells, wow.
Visited Jocko Henderson when he was doing his gig on radio 80DeeOh in the early 60s. He was musing with Wells on the phone at the time while he was playing one of her recordings.
Jocko Henderson’s show was prime time in the NYC/Philadelphia area at that time. Jocko was violating his station policy about having uninvited or unknow guests in the studio but he did not seem to mind.
