I had a dog eat one of my garden gloves one time. I didn’t find it until I was picking up poop in the back yard. It was not intact so I was not able to use it again, like I am sure you did with you sock.

I found kelly green poop in the front yard, left by our dog. put it in a freezer bag and was going to the vets the next day...that afternoon my dog barfed up a sock, bluish green, but only the green showed up in her poo. The sock was in tact but where she threw up the sock, it stained the carpet bluish green and I could not get the stain out totally...canceled vet appt. Love the dog but she was an idiot....
