As I said before, the feds are no less responsible as they would have been had they given Mateen the guns & ammo & driven him to the Pulse.
(For clarification, ‘Feds’ does mean the hardworking individual agents in the FBI, CIA, DHS or any other alphabet agency. The ones I know are as disgusted as I. I am talking about those above their pay grade.)

More and more, as you say. At some point, the presumption of stupidity or malignant naivete must give way to the only other conclusion available, under Occam’s Razor: Willful deliberation born of evil. And, looking at the current crop of liberal “leaders” and the “progressive” ethos, it’s very easy to make that leap. This entire case should be the very personification of American progressivism, where individual lives mean nothing in the face of the cause.
It can get much worse. The Congressweenies should grow some and tell Barry Soetoro, "You're fired."

In an email on Friday, the company said Mateen was indeed evaluated by the firm that bought Nudelman’s practice, Headquarters for Psychological Evaluation, owned by Dr. Joanne Bauling. She could not be reached for comment on Friday.
The company also said Friday that Mateen was not interviewed by a psychologist, but rather, the psychologist evaluated the results of a standard test used in job screenings.
This wasn't a "clerical" error. It was outright forgery.
The original doctor should be suing them for fraud. And, the State of Florida should be investigating, as well.

G4S notes the statement today by FBI Director James Comey that agents investigated Omar Mateen in 2013 and 2014 and closed their investigations after deciding that no further action was necessary.
G4S also notes the comments by a former employee, Daniel Gilroy. G4S has no record of any complaint by Mr. Gilroy about Mr. Mateen. And further, Mr. Gilroy is on record on June 2015, shortly after leaving G4S, as saying, “The work and job assignments were respectful and co-workers were good men and women that put in an honest day’s work and genuinely like to work as a team and contribute.”....."
BUT:
“....The FBI’s Ronald Hopper said Mateen first drew the agency's attention in 2013, when he made “inflammatory comments” to co-workers about having ties to terrorism.
FBI Director James Comey said that at the time, Mateen was working as a contract security guard at a local courthouse. He told his co-workers he had ties to al-Qaida and Hezbollah and that he hoped police would kill his wife and child so he could martyr himself.
“In the course of the investigation, Mateen was interviewed twice,” Hopper said. According to Comey, Mateen told them he made the comments out of anger because he thought his [unnamed] co-workers were teasing him about being a Muslim.

So the whackedhut would have us believe since they have no record of a complaint by Mr Gilroy, charges of inflammatory comments are simply not true even though Comey confirmed such comments.
G4S needs to go back to being known as Whackedhut.
It isn’t alone either.
One can wonder if the CIA was involved with Mateen somehow, seeing how conveniently all balls were all routinely and expeditiously dropped at every turn.
