Trump needs to get his numbers up among Republicans. He is only getting 75% of them. Most of the other 25% are probably sitting on the sidelines as of now. I suspect that a lot of them will come home as November approaches.
That’s my thoughts. Support hasn’t shifted from Trump to Hillary. It has shifted from Trump to undecided, whereas Hillary has flatlined. Trump will get a pop during the convention, whereas Hillary will get heckled by Berniebots. Maybe she’ll even have a coughing fit too during her acceptance speech.
