Kind of like not eating meat on Friday?

Many religions have ridiculous culinary customs.

I can not like them for being bloodthirsty a-holes. But picking on them for the details of their “customs” is not much fun. Some of our “customs” are stupid too. (Turkey for Thanksgiving, etc)

This is so because, due to change of taste in the mouth, if saliva is swallowed, then the fasting will be invalid. Therefore, be cautious.

But seriously, telling someone in Africa that we sit down every year and eat this huge bird...they would probably look at you as if you were insane.

I wonder if you can do it by the hour. 2 hours on Tuesday, 3 hours on Thursday, etc.
