MGB is a death trap! Probably fun to drive though! How about an older model Mini Cooper from the early 2000’s? I saw one of those after an accident and I was shocked at how little damage it had.

So, please be informed before you spout off.

You can hold your snark...I am informed...

Your Titan is 59% American made which is one of the lowest on the list of foreign and domestic trucks while the union made Trucks have a far larger percentage of being made in the U.S...

This one

But that's only part of the story...You apparently hate the wages that blue collar workers earn...The best rated and best selling truck on the market is the union made Ford F150...

While your Titan is not the truck of the F150 it is more expensive...So considering that, with the union wages paid to Ford employees compared to the wages paid to the Japanese car companies employees, the foreign car profit margins are huge compared to Ford, GM and Chrysler...

And those huge profits go directly to Japan where the U.S. car sales profits are spent on wages of American workers...The money is spent in the U.S. (far more so than the money that goes to Japan) which benefits all us...So I don't understand this anti-union tirade of yours...

Ok. Mr. Informed One.

Actually, I do own one Chevy and am quite happy with it.

As I said in a previous comment, I had my run with Fords... F250’s and 150’s alike. Mismatched door/corner panels, faulty bed designs, lack of interior storage space in favor of a sound booster, etc. The list goes on.

Actually, I did price Fords before I purchased the latest Pro4X Nissan. Forget the King Ranch and Platinum series... to high for my blood. I even drove an XLT which was a nice pickup and it was priced on par to the Pro4X with a gas motor vs what I got with the Cummings.

During all of my travels to Bolivia where there are virtually no roads, the best vehicles hands down are Toyota.

Regarding my apparent “anti Union” tirade...

I grew up in SE Colorado which has a rich history in coal production. There is no question that Unions were valuable to the US worker at one time. I have seen the old company stores (Company script) and have visited the Ludlow memorial several times. The mules in the mines were treated better than the miners.

Something changed over time. Without recognizing that the company owners and shareholders needed to generate profits, the Union kept asking for more and more with no skin in the game. Aside from the reg changes, I saw firsthand how the union employees treated CF&I (sabotage of the continuous miner machinery on holiday weekends to get off work, etc). There are other instances through my personal interactions with friends who are union employees where I hear the games that are played. Speak your mind and you quickly lose your place in line for work.
