Is punishing Americans the appropriate response to Islamic terrorism in America?
Consider, Obama continues to recklessly and without ANY background checks import over 100 Syrian 'refugees' PER DAY into the United States. No worries though, because Obama tells us it has been AMERICAN CITIZENS waging these attacks, not foreigners.
Excuse me, Obama. FIRST, this attacker was MUSLIM. Secondly, his father was IMPORTED FROM AFGHANISTAN. Third, the issue of citizenship is IRRELEVANT.
The REAL issue here is ISLAM and its promotion of HATRED AND DEATH for anyone NOT Muslim, not citizenship! The REAL issue here is not 'AMERICANS' RIGHTS' under the Second Amendment, but rather the concept of allowing ourselves to be surrounded by a people who practice an ideology hellbent on DESTROYING US.
Islam is war on the West. It's all right there in the Quran and all of its followers are potential soldiers against us.
Punishing Americans by INFRINGING on our rights is a blatant distraction from the REAL threat called ISLAM.

Between the two of us, I would say, realistically, we can’t lose in a conventional sense. They can’t “defeat us here” in a conventional sense obviously and there will never be enough Americans become Muslim for them to win in that way. We will defeat them once we have a leader who tells the military to do it. It is that simple. Trump, Hillary, Smith, some President at some point is going to say “Do it” and it will be done. We all know it. They all know it. It is just frustrating to watch the parade of bullcrap that passes in the interval.
Everytime a Muslim attacks us, we’re going to lose more and more of our civil rights, until eventually we’re a police state.

This has been the tendency of the federal government for some time. While detailed to the White House shortly after 9/11 (in the GWB administration, no less), I was involved in some discussions/deliberations of policies that would have infringed on the constitutional rights of American citizens - well beyond the Patriot Act and the creation of DHS - that would have had little to no impact on terrorism, but would have created hardships and impositions on American citizens.
I happen to believe that this due to two factors: 1) It is the tendency of a bloated, highly-bureaucratic government to regulate - in this case, understanding that it can’t feasibly regulate terrorism, but can regulate American citizens and make it appear that it is “doing something”; and 2) It is a product of the nefarious aims of elitists in American society who are more than willing to take advantage of a crisis and further their ideological agenda.
