Sheesh. I know it’s the LAT, but just for a teachable moment, murder by definition is a crime of hate.
If that Muslim had lived, he would have been tried, found guilty, and sentence to death in FL, period. No other sanctions need apply.

I agree. Murder is a hat crime, but NBC is telling folks that it’s simply an anti-gay hate crime. Nothing to do with the shooter being a domestic radical Islamist Lone-Wolf Jihadist.
