I’ve been to a show or two at the Plaza. Saw the Alan Parsons Project there (sans original vocalist who passed away years ago).

Mid-size converted movie theater venue on the “seedy but hip” side of O-Town that can’t afford much security. It’s a shame since they mostly hosted small “one-hit wonder” bands and this horrible incident will probably close it down.

Ok, I’m jealous. I LOVE the Alan Parsons Project. “Time” & “Old & Wise” are 2 of the most beautiful songs of all time.

Still not the same without Eric Woolfson, RIP. RIP also to vocalist Chris Rainbow who passed away last year from Parkinson’s.

My thoughts & prayers go out to Christina Grimmie’s family. Senseless tragedy.

“As far as security, The Plaza does have security guards who wear polo shirts. They are unarmed,” “They do check bags and purses as people enter.”

The Plaza Live issued a statement extending condolences to the victims and indicating all activities and events have been suspended “until further notice.”
