My Kristin Gillibrand Theory is a repeat of the Torricelli Switch.
In early September, when Hillary has been all but indicted, and is getting killed in the polls, the Democrats will come to the realization that they are going to lose hugh... I mean huge.
The Democrats are not in it to lose, so they will dump Hillary and choose a replacement for the last six weeks of the campaign. Now they could go with Biden, Warren, or Bernie, but each of them start with high negatives and have too much of a taint of Hillary, who will be toxic by this time. So they will pick an attractive, inoffensive non-entity.
That attractive inoffensive non-entity will be Senator Kristin Gillibrand of New York, and she will win.
