PRAY for our nation! The LORD is in command of this spiritual battle that is raging across America. HE is our hope.
[Not being smart here. I don’t think we will be saved from the battle that is coming, but we can hope for passage through............]
The battle is raging for the soul of America. We will not be saved FROM the battle, the LORD expects us to be IN the battle. He promises to defend those who stand for Truth and see us through. We are HIS foot soldiers.
The LORD commanded us to PRAY. Only then will the HOLY SPIRIT give us a Divine battle plan. The battle belongs to the LORD, and it will be won on our knees.
“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your hearts, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and He relents from sending calamity. Joel 2:12-13
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
