Pretty good movie. Anything with Burt Lancaster in it was usually good and this particular one (The Rainmaker) probably is a good metaphor for today’s climate hucksters.
I’m particularly attached to it because my dad loved it and made me watch it with him, and we never got to do many things together. They had real leading men back then, not androgynous metrosexual underwear models. (i.e.: fags)
