People need to realize there is a difference between people and animals. I would sacrifice my own dog (if I had one) to save another human’s life.
Most of them do understand there is a difference, they just value animals more than people. The same people that go crazy over the gorilla being shot most likely support abortion to the max. Crazy liberals, no other explanation needed.

Depends on the person whether I would sacrifice my dog. Probably not. You’d think I’d sacrifice my dog to save the life of Barack Obama or Bernie Clinton? A Black Chimps Matter activist? - not likely
