This is typical media “news” to grab an audience.
When you read the article it’s apparent that the gator has been there for years, growing all the time. Yes, it’s big, but it’s not news to anyone except the reporter.
It’s so big it’s hard to believe
Is it yuge?
“Mind if I play through?”
In other news ... Alligators have been breeding near the site of the Olympic golf course and they’ve been seen wandering the course
Dang...a portable, walking water hazard!
General Jack Ripper used to carry a .30 caliber M-60 in his golf bag for just such situations.
He was prepared!
GATOR playing through!
Judge Smails was unavailable for comment, but the course grounds keeper was overheard to say “So much for the gopher problem”.
For those of us who share the local biome with alligators, they won’t bother you if they aren’t hungry (which is 99% of the time) and if you leave them alone. Leash your dogs and toddlers when coming anywhere near retention ponds and lakes, and you have nothing to worry about.
Better call Troy.
Big ass gator.
Quick, shoot it!!! Shoot it!!! If you don’t believe in shooting it, you also don’t care about abortions and starving children in Africa!!!!

Davie Police Capt. Dale Engle says the body found Sunday in Southwest Ranches, about 20 miles west of Fort Lauderdale, appears to have been at the location for a long time.
Engle says officers were able to scare the alligators away from the body but the two lingered as officers tried to recover the body.

I’ve seen bigger in Georgia.
Luckily it’s one of the friendly and cute ones.
There’s a gator in the bushes, he’s calling my name.
And a saying come on, boy, you better make it back home again.
There’s many roads I’ve traveled but they all kinda look the same.
There’s a gator in the bushes, Lord, he’s calling my name.
