This is a suicide mission so it has to be someone whose political career is over anyway. Romney fits but I’d think he’d have better sense than to bring that kind of hatred on himself.
Ron Paul fits but who will pay any attention to him?
Walker still has a future and I hope he’s not dumb enough.
The Republican Party will disavow any such candidate to save its hide.

This weekend there are rumors that Hillary Kristol has recruited Romney to run as a Third Party spoiler, perhaps ubsuring a Clinton victory in Nov
I doubt Romney can swing the election for Clinto. I don't think there's some significant pool of Romney voters just waiting for him to make his entry into the race - he's the choice of a few Beltway types, no more.
