I'm disgusted that they killed the gorilla. The zoo workers should be trained to save the child and the animal. This wasn't a case where the gorilla attacked.

All that being said, it's a situation I wonder about. There probably should be a zoo employee stationed at that venue, or any venue where it's physically possible for a zoo guest to get in.

Kill the gorilla, fine the parents to reimburse the zoo, and jail the parents for their child negligence, and put the kid up for an adoption where the new family looks after him properly.
