I hope so. But not everyone does. I’m kind of an evangelist on the topic. I was very impressed with this book. It’s natural to think Mao was a Hitler-like Svengali that mislead the masses. The truth is he couldn’t even give a decent speech. He glommed onto the hard work of others (evil work as it was) and seized the reins of power.

And Nixon legitimized his reign and spat on the graves of those millions. The very thought of an American president meeting with the world’s greatest mass murderer turns my stomach.
