No need eve for a firearm when I was to young to carry even a 22LR I dispatched trapped coyotes with 2 feet of hickory shovel handle. I solid whack between the ear and the eye put them down for the count and did not mess up the fur.
Bingo! What a bunch of wimps. I bet that run from geese and “crazed” turkeys as well. Incredible bunch of losers.
Do you need a roadrunner or will a simple Acme anvil do the trick?
You don’t really need a gun to scare off a coyote though. Would make it pretty easy tho :)
Too bad Acme (now known as Amazon) doesn’t deliver on the trail.
Is it true that idiots these days don’t know how to pick up a rock and throw it with any accuracy)
I always liked the round black patch that became a tunnel or hole depending on how the roadrunner used it.
“In addition, hikers should not hesitate to scare coyotes by making loud noises and using bright lights.”
Some of my hand loads fit that description perfectly.
Thanks a lot. Bleh.
Maybe the coyote self-identified as a hiker.
I’d say somebody must be feeding these coyotes, or else they would run away from a pair of fully grown humans.
I think my lunch is coming back to visit. Yuck!
two hikers, apparently adults, with two dogs against one coyote...you know coyotes are not that big....
Wonderful, now the feral dog can go harass others. Not how an intelligent officer should handle it.

Something tells me that if the responding police (wonder how many actually showed up) had assisted the varmint in assuming room temp, these two ‘nature’ lovers would have said it was unwarranted as the animal was just protecting his territory.
Actually in todays world, the responding officer probably has the same feeling.
happy, happy, happy.....

They would if they could use drones
But if had been someone's pet dog, in it's own yard.........
