I hate the, “If she were wearing . . .” BS. She’s not. Nobody should get special snowflake treatment. I’ve taught two very special Marines. They would be appalled by this, and they’re even Gen Xers.
You don’t ever have to ask to be excused for anything, far as I’m concerned.
You are a great reminder of what this country was, what you fought for.
