I thought Egypt was doing pretty good until Obama stuck his nose in their business.
Yep. Him his pals the Muslim Brotherhood created another disaster.
Both the Egyptian and general Middle Eastern disasters is a gift from Mr. Obama that keeps on giving.
If Trump is elected he will strongly support President al-Sisi who BTW is working with the Israelis to seal the Gaza border & destroy Hamas tunnels. Egyptians hate Palis.
If a strengthened al-Sisi can return Egypt to a largely secular society (ironically, Ataturk’s secular Turkey is being led in the opposite direction by `Sultan’ Erdogan), it might become hospitable for Western tourists once more.
But al-Sisi will really have to decimate the Muslim Brotherhood. With their friend no longer in the White House, that may be possible.
Muslim Brotherhood
HuuuuuuMa
Anything islam comes near turns to crap. Inbred morons still ain’t figgered it out yet.
“One away”???
Here’s a tip: I’m not going. Ever.
We spent a couple weeks in Egypt before Mubarak was overthrown by Clown Prince nobama’s moozlum friends: the brotherhood. The visit was a wonderful experience. Thanks nobama, you louse.
If there’s any Middle Eastern country on your bucket list, just be sure to put it last.
That is exactly what I am doing with Israel.
It is last on my list.
Why would anyone go to a Muslim country in the first place?
In a world gone mad, the greatest mystery is the source of neverending supply of brain-dead, clueless, ignorant morons willing actually to spend good money and willingly consider a deadly koranimal country as a "vacation" destination.
I don’t know about everyone else, but I am sick of the non-stop coverage of this event, when nobody knows anything about what happened.
A trip to Jordon, the Pyramids, and the outer regions in Egypt are well worth the effort, especially if one is on a camel ride with the Bedouins. The Bedouin’s attitudes toward Westerners is totally different than those of the average Egyptian. One can’t find a more accommodating and respectful group of people.
If you boycott Muslim countries, there are many fabulous places you’ll never see...
Fifty years ago, Egypt was on my bucket list, in addition to Jordan, several Asian historic sites, the Mexican and Peruvian Jungle sites.
All of them have sporadic killer groups today; if lucky, they will just rob or ransom you. Most of the incidents never make the news.
No cultural enrichment is worth losing your life.
In all fairness, I also now view Philadelphia (PA) among no-go sites, after one failed attempt.
Well, what’s another 10s of millions of muzzies pushing toward Europe when the lights go out in Egypt...
My sympathies old man. Time for a double dose of your senility pills.
The rest of us KNOW that someone(s) killed 66 people aboard that airliner.
