The pathology of Cruz supporters all but defies description. The Cruz camp wronged Carson. The former contacted every single caucus location with the message, presented as fact, that Carson was suspending his campaign. Carson had made no such announcement (just the opposite) nor had CNN reported this ‘fact.’ What was done to Carson represents the antithesis of the Golden Rule. It was dirty.
And ever since, Cruz supporters have been lobbing insults, abuse, or other accusations...at Carson. I.e.: it wasn’t enough to lie about Carson at a crucial moment in the primaries; he now needs to be further deligitimized by Cruz supporters.
It’s ugly. It’s sick. It’s creepy.
