Seriously? Boy, if only Alexander of Macedon had been as powerful and wise, they’d still be spending drachmas in Guangzhou.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say Trump might have had a wee bit more of a hand in making Trump that he’s being given credit for.
I think Savage just means that he was on the vanguard of the “Borders, Language, Culture” emphasis. Of those three, Trump is really just more of a “Borders” guy, not really much of an explicit “language” guy, and less of a culture guy (though he won’t roll over for BLM and La Raza like other Republicans).
I think Savage has a good point, if a bit overstated.
