Well, I guess I won’t be reading any more Forbes articles.
I detest web ads, and they want me to shut my ad blocker off.
Nope, not gonna do it.
Oh well, too bad so sad for both of us.
“I detest web ads, and they want me to shut my ad blocker off. Nope, not gonna do it.”
Likewise. Who they **** are they to tell me to shut off my ad blocker?
That's interesting -- the three of us posted the same complaint, at about the same time.
I really wish I could tell Forbes WHY I use an ad-blocker. They might be surprised.
Forbes sucks anyhow
Even if you do turn off the ad blocker, their site is (and has always been) designed so terribly and the ads scripted poorly that the odds are it will crash your browser before the full article loads anyhow (especially if you use IE)
Wall Street Journal and Huffington post (not that I care) are the same, it’s a wonder how these websites stay in business
Hmm. I had no problems viewing it. Of course, I am using an older version of Opera (v. 12.16) but with “Ghostery” and “Adblocker Plus” and I could read the article.
Agree that the layout is poor, though...
Cheers!
Ditto
I don't hate web ads, I fear them, since they are now a major conduit for ransomware. And I don't trust any site that doesn't want me to protect myself. There is plenty of ad technology that is compatible with ad blockers, but they want to embed spyware and other nasty items in their ads.
