and the weak is fundamentally inconsistent with Christian ethics, and other sources of moral judgment, in every income quintile.

Make no mistake. Those who support Trump, no matter how reluctantly, have crossed a moral boundary. They are standing with a leader who encourages prejudice and despises the weak. They are aiding the transformation of a party formed by Lincoln's blazing vision of equality into a party of white resentment. Those who find this one of the normal, everyday compromises of politics have truly lost their way.

The author is on the right, which surprises me.

Er, no Gerson, we despise you. And, yes, if there were no strong, the weak would all be dead. So, yes, we should celebrate the strong.

And by the way, this quote is the upshot of idiocy. “Make no mistake.”

Bollocks.

No one is ‘entitled’ to enter this country with intent to harm or defraud. No one.

lies, lies, and more lies against Trump. That;s all thety have and they expect people to believe them.

I wonder how much is Hillary paying them.

And don’t think they are above that.

Read this:

Tech billionaires (major Dem donors, Hillary supporters) plot with GOP leaders at exclusive island resort to stop Trump

Well that’s a new and refreshing thesis. If you don’t agree with thee you are a xenophobic racist.

No Mr. Gerson those who enable the further expansion of the NWO, the election of a traitorous felon, the dissolution of our country and nullification of our Constitution have crossed the moral boundary. That makes you a willful violator of the law and domestic enemy of this nation. People like you are disgusting!

“They are aiding the transformation of a party formed by Lincoln's blazing vision of equality into a party of white resentment.”

The truth and the reality are that it is resentment that has been the emotional sustenance of the left for decades, and the leaders on the left have used race baiting, class envy, and identity politics as a weapon without any concern over how this might rip apart society. It has been shear irresponsibility, and yes, immoral.

So don't start lecturing now about the backlash from citizens (white and non-white) who feel that clueless people wearing suits are ruining their lives, and who have wrapped their hopes in a man who has enough money, celebrity, and charisma to be able to say what he thinks and challenge the oligarchy that the rest of us are supposed to accept as our masters.

Crybaby self-important neocon Bushie.

“Gerson, a neo-conservative, has repeatedly criticized other conservatives in his column and conservatives have returned the favor. One of Gerson’s first columns was entitled “Letting Fear Rule”, in which he compared skeptics of President Bush’s immigration reform bill to nativist bigots of the 1880s.”

From his Wikipedia page.

They are standing with a leader who encourages prejudice and despises the weak.

Pure utter nonsense.

Trump is encouraging a timeout to determine how to vet terrorists coming in to this country. That is common sense. As far as the weak, I do indeed despise weak leaders, they are worthless as leaders. As long as the weak do not try to secure positions of leadership I harbor no ill will towards them at all.

This whole article is nothing more than rubbish. We aren't electing a moral leader, I already have one, the Lord.

So we have those telling us we aren't conservative, and others telling us we are immoral. Well I think tacitly throwing support to Hillary Clinton is a major act of immorality, as well as, decidedly not conservative.

Did Lincoln have a “blazing vision of equality?” I thought he just wanted to keep the union together and did what it took politically and militarily to make that happen.

Lying is a conservative thing?

Trump has stated many times that he is against abortion. The fact that you refuse to believe him is your problem and does make Trump a supporter of abortions.
