GOP Lunacy in High Places (It is Immoral to Vote Trump)
Real Clear Politics ^ | 5-10-2016 | Michael Gerson

and the weak is fundamentally inconsistent with Christian ethics, and other sources of moral judgment, in every income quintile.

Make no mistake. Those who support Trump, no matter how reluctantly, have crossed a moral boundary. They are standing with a leader who encourages prejudice and despises the weak. They are aiding the transformation of a party formed by Lincoln's blazing vision of equality into a party of white resentment. Those who find this one of the normal, everyday compromises of politics have truly lost their way.

Aw shut up.

If I’m doing wrong by the man upstairs, then I talk it out with him when the times comes.

Those who support Trump, no matter how reluctantly, have crossed a moral boundary.

Those who support Hillary Clinton have no moral boundaries left to cross.

They are standing with a leader who encourages prejudice and despises the weak.

They are standing with a nobody who encourages criminality, corruption, and outright deception. Not to mention incompetence and hypocrisy.

They are aiding the transformation of a party formed by Lincoln's blazing vision of equality into a party of white resentment.

They are completing the transformation of a party populated by lunatics into a party of racist, corrupt, deviant, perverted, incompetent lunatics.

Those who find this one of the normal, everyday compromises of politics have truly lost their way.

Those who find Hillary Clinton an acceptable candidate might as well nominate Satan himself. He would be no more corrupt.

voting for a pro abortion hillary supporter . . is a Conservative thing???

Trump has Phyllis Schlafley's imprimatur, and her conservative credentials are impeccable. Pro-life is never going to be Trump's #1 issue, just like immigration was not going to be Walker's. He IS putting the right people around, getting advisors from the Susan B. Anthony list, which is about four levels above the NRLC that Bush the Elder would o to at BEST.

On day to day operations and especially Court Appointments, there's no question that Trump will be eons better than the last eight years. We have thre Justices in the balance, TWO of them at least "ours".

I hung in with Cruz, but the process has spoken. It's Trump or bust, and yes, we are conservative because unlike Romney, who would institutionalize Romneyism, Trump provides an opportunity to pitch in and replace the cronies with good guys, or at least less entrenched cronies who will owe the right people.

Absolutely! He’s such a phony.

He is a former CFR senior fellow. Recruited by Rove to work at Bush White House. “Gerson proposed the use of a “smoking gun/mushroom cloud” mixed-metaphor during a September 5, 2002 meeting of the White House Iraq Group, in an effort to sell the American public on the nuclear dangers posed by Saddam Hussein.”

More from his Wiki page:

“In an article by Matthew Scully (one of Gerson’s co-speechwriters) published in The Atlantic (September 2007) Gerson is criticized for seeking the limelight, taking the credit for other people’s work and for creating a false image of himself.”

“My most vivid memory of Mike at Starbucks is one I have labored in vain to shake. We were working on a State of the Union address in John’s ( McConnell’s) office when suddenly Mike was called away for an unspecified appointment, leaving us to “keep going.” We learned only later, from a chance conversation with his secretary, where he had gone, and it was a piece of Washington self-promotion for the ages: At the precise moment when the State of the Union address was being drafted at the White House by John and me, Mike was off pretending to craft the State of the Union in longhand for the benefit of a reporter.”

Wow. And this guy wants to give me a lecture on politics and morality.

What “blazing vision of equality”?

Lincoln wanted to send the blacks back to Africa.

let me get this straight: according to this Gerson an America-hating communist like Obama is a morally acceptable occupant of the Oval Office, but Donald Trump is not ?

If you look at every white minority political unit in the country, they are all corruptly and incompetently governed - every single one !

And, according to this Gerson, we should happily accept the same outcome for the United States even though the non-whites are invading the country illegally !

Gerson sleeps comfortably in his bed at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on his behalf.

Arrogant cowardly prick.

And Hitlerly will play the very moral “hate whitey” (Christians, normal families and men) power game with the, oh so moral, liberal/globalist elite. So to be a real moral character, vote Hitlerly!
