You know, I have to say, the honesty is refreshing. At least they openly admit now that Mexico is dependent on remittances from the US. Frankly, the wall might be the best thing ever to happen to Mexico, if it forces them to actually carry out reform.
I am convinced the U.S. is the only reason Mexico has not had a major revolution in a number of years. It is easier to come here than it is to try to change things in their own country. We need to make it easier to change things there than coming here.
Most of the illegals flooding in now are from Guatemala, Honduras, etc. but Mexico allows them to travel through to get here. If we secure the border Mexico would secure theirs because there is no way they want illegals from other countries.
So if the Mexican government wants to pull a Santa Anna...does that mean we get an additional Texas? I’ll be fine if they just give us the oil producing regions and they keep the rest of the land...I’m not greedy or anything.
I think it would be funny if we get a new internet meme going saying “Give Mexico back to Spain.” Not because I necessarily believe it, but man it would probably rile up the reconquista/La Raza crowd.
The war would last 20 minutes........Ummmm, maybe not. The perfumed princes would enact ROE’s that could drag out the fight for years.

How an actual war with Mexico would work:
Step 1. Once at war, the US pulls out its CIA and Special Forces assets protecting the Mexican government from the cartels, and leaves them to their own devices
Step 2. Treasury Department cuts off all wire transfers and Western Union payments to Mexico
Step 3. A day or two later, Mexico surrenders unconditionally.

I did see that they do indeed have a few Olympic medals in swimming but none in any type of jumping event.

looks like reality is setting in for Fox - he went from trying to sound reasonable to jumping the shark - I’m sure President Trump will have a few life-changing messages for him.....
