I wish America would ban depictions of sexual assault....its very upsetting but I think there are a certain number of people that get perverse pleasure out of it...

China is sounding almost Christian in its atheism.

Its as though China's Marxist rulers absolutely understand these things. They know that rampant drugs, promiscuity, homosexuality, etc... bring down societies - and while they may have promoted it in the West, they absolutely do not allow it in their own. After 1949, the Chinese Government imposed puritanical standards on the people. Homosexuality was branded "hooliganism." male and female students in college couldn't date (at least not in any sense that we know it). Divorce was severely frowned upon, as was out-of-wedlock births. Of course, drug dealers were shot, and addicts locked up in remote farms and work camps to overcome their addictions.
