Nice job. Don't know what camera you're using, but you seem to know how to use it...a lot of people don't realize what a little knowledge and experience does for picture quality... I use a Pentax K 30, usually these days with a very old Makinon 135mm f2.8 manual focus lens. Had a very nice Vivitar 200mm M42 but it died a slow painful death a couple of years ago. I still miss it... I concentrate mainly on birds, and do a lot of flowers and insects too, and some macro now and then. I got started on birds in the late 80's with a Hummingbird just outside the kitchen window and a Yashica rangefinder camera. Long distance for the 135, I'm going to try and hang out in the same area and get some more soon, this is a Yellowthroat, or Common Yellowthroat, depending on which book I grab. Don't see these often, small and fast moving so it's not easy to get a shot.

Another common summer resident is the Yellow Breasted Chat

You mentioned Kingfishers, I live close to a lake, Kingfishers are some of the most difficult birds to get close to, very wary of humans. This is another land bird that is difficult, we have at least 4 living nearby and I rarely get close enough for a decent shot. Roadrunner (female)

Those were taken with the Makinon 135mm lens, here's one with the Vivitar 200mm M42 I was bragging about above, taken at a North Louisiana lake several years ago. Snowy Egret just as it speared a shad.

Gotta go, might try to come back later and show off a few more. I'll try to dig up a Kingfisher shot. I get loads of ducks and water birds, I hang out on lakes a lot. Glad to see another competent photographer on here.

Nice shots. I’ve seen common yellowthroats here this year, but haven’t been able to get a good shot of one.
